In our mission to make life easier for our customers, we at FSL have released our New DN50 Manifold. It's larger diameter allows higher flow rates, and in double rows of cylinders, it utilises less material thus reducing installation costs...
The larger diameter pipe allows for a higher flow rate, meaning that it is possible to flow more gas through the manifold. Where systems require multiple rows of cylinders, as in the picture, it is obvious that only one DN50 manifold lies centrally between double cylinder rows. As the older inset shows, this would have previously resulted in twice the amount of pipe, including extra manifold clamps, blind end caps, additional tees and elbows - all of which introduce resistance into the pipework in terms of gas flow.
